As everybody knows that it will need time and energy to create this new habit. But you can do this. It's under your control and depends on you.

  1. Body Language
  2. Use Positive Affirmation
  3. Speak Loud
  4. Dress Smart
  5. Accept Compliments
  6. Avoid Perfectionism
  7. Don't accept Failures

  • Body Language

Body language refers to the nonverbal signals that we use to communicate with people.
It can also be understood as the unspoken element of communication that we use to reveal our true feelings and emotions is body language. Your gestures, facial expressions, and posture.

  • Use positive affirmations

You can use positive affirmation – positive statements that are meant to refresh your mind to see yourself in a better light to feel more confident.
Like:
“I am worthy”
“I’m a great leader”
“Everybody likes me”, and so on. There are many ways to do it. You can write down your own schedule and repeat it every morning and evening before going to bed. You can also write the positive statements on a piece of paper and stick on the wall where you can always see it, write your affirmation on a mirror so that you can daily see them.
  • Speak Loud

The way you talk and project your voice is directly related to your confidence. People keep their voice low due to shyness. They don’t want to draw attention, which they can if they speak up.
You probably have noticed in meetings, there is always one guy, who is loudest of all, very self-confident, maybe sometimes arrogant, who doesn’t care much about what others think. And then those who don’t talk much, they stay quiet, and even when asked – they speak in such a way that people can’t even hear them.
So next time when you’re in a meeting speak up, project your voice, be loud. Then you’ll see what kind of an impact it has on your confidence.

  • Dress Smart

If you ever noticed that you have a lack of confidence, then the easiest way to boost it by dressing like an authority. How you dress could affect your attitude and self-confidence. When you dress better you feel better and it will make you feel good which will definitely improve your self-confidence. Your overall self-esteem comes from your physical appearance, so always dress well. Your physical appearance also contributes to your self-confidence.
  • Accept compliments

Imagine somebody tells you, you look really nice. What would you respond?
Does “Oh, it’s an old dress.”

“Oh, I actually feel quite tired today” sound familiar to you?
What you used to say when somebody pays you a compliment?
We rarely just accept a compliment. We rarely say “Thank you” without any buts.
But think about it. If somebody takes time to tell you something nice, it’s because they really think that. Why can’t you just accept a nice word? Why are you tempted to downplay it? If you did a good job, take ownership of it. Prepare yourself to believe in all the good things people tell you. It’s the easiest, and all for free, way to boost your confidence.
  • Avoid perfectionism

If you are aiming at perfection than you’re aiming for disappointment. It’s very difficult to be perfect. You can always be better, faster,  you can do more.
Stop trying to do everything and do it flawlessly. Accept that nobody is perfect in this world. And you also don’t have to be perfect, just accept yourself the way you are. Perfectionists usually have lower self-esteem, because they criticize themselves all the time.
Have a look at some of the confident people around you. Are they perfect? Give yourself more acceptance and be more tolerating of your own mistakes and shortcoming.
  • Don't accept failures

Never give up and never accept failure. There is a solution to everything. Succeeding through difficulty is a huge confidence booster.
Low self-confidence is often caused by negative thoughts running through our minds on an endless track. You are becoming what you are thinking inside your mind, and that's not a good thing at all. So next time whenever you hear that negativity in your mind, turn it immediately to a positive thought and keep it up until it hits the height of self-confidence.
